The Hero Lectro Y5 is built with a lightweight aluminum alloy frame that feels solid and easy to handle. Its front suspension fork helps in absorbing shocks, making bumpy roads smoother. The 26-inch tyres provide a firm grip and keep the cycle steady even on uneven city roads.
You can ride it in three modes –
- Pedal Mode (like a regular cycle)
- Pedal Assist Mode (motor supports your pedaling)
- Throttle Mode (just twist and go, no pedaling needed)
The 250W BLDC rear motor gives smooth acceleration and runs quietly. The 36V 5.8Ah Li-ion battery is removable, so you can charge it at home or office easily. On full charge, you get a range of 40–60 km depending on the mode and terrain.
Its dual disc brakes give powerful stopping even during rain. Plus, the LED display shows speed, battery, and mode clearly, adding a modern touch.
